International cooperation is serious, professional work which enables people in marginalised situations to live happier, healthier, and longer lives in safe and stable societies. The facts demonstrate that it pays off: in the last 25 years, a billion people have escaped extreme poverty and large-scale vaccination campaigns have contributed to a 60 percent drop in child mortality worldwide.
With a results-based approach, Cordaid effectively strengthens healthcare, education, agriculture, and justice systems. In collaboration with civil society organisations, we have been working on poverty reduction and social inclusion in the Netherlands since 1938.
